on march 29，deputy vice chancellor of university of wales robert brown and alan lewis paid a visit to our college. dean of sem zhenpeng tang , deputy secretary of party committee suiping weng and other staffs of sem warmly welcomed our guests. then both sides negotiated a cooperation and exchange program concerned with construction of master’s degree, carrying on a prudent and meticulous discussion about course match, selection of supervisor, thesis defense, intellectual property and so forth. the uw part made a proposal to cultivate inter-disciplinary talents, which was highly acclaimed by our school leaders. at last, a sound negotiation was completed and a further discussion on tuition, scholarship, grants and living cost was expected.
